SILICON VALLEY STEAK MASTERS

We all hail from the Valley of Heart’s Delight, better known today as Silicon Valley. We’ve met for years over breakfast at Willow Glen’s Bill’s Café, celebrated the Holidays on a little black school bus, trudged around California for the Yadda Yadda, and toasted the end of the year at Cinnabar Hills Golf Club. But we had an idea that fit our more mature years, inspired by the great steakhouse crawls of Chicago and NYC. Yes friends, the BBC has grown up.

 

Good friends are hard to find, and so is a great steakhouse. So our mission as good friends is to identify and share our experiences at the steakhouses of Silicon Valley – and at times beyond. We’ll visit a new steak mecca quarterly at least, and blog about the whole package, not just the steak. Because if you start with great quality meat and an eye for temperature and finish, no chef should screw up a steak. From the moment our first members walk in the door, the blog is on –

 

How did the host greet you at the front?

Was your stirred martini cold enough without nasty ice chips?

Did the side dishes have imagination and flavor?

Did the wine steward snarl at what you brought in?
